To maximize the use with the bench press make sure you keep tension at the bottom of the movement. Doubling the bands up and running them under a dumbbell can accomplish this.
A great way to train the rear delts and upper back is to hold the mini band in front of your body with your arms extended at face level. Then you pull the band apart while driving the elbows back.
