ANDY BOLTON UPDATE
I heard that you are slightly injured at the moment. What happened ?
WELL I DAMAGED MY PATELLA TENDON SLIGHTLY IN JULY AT THE BRITISH CHAMPS,I DROPPED WHAT I THOUGHT TO BE 522.5KG BUT LATER HAD LOTS OF EMAILS SAYING LOOKED LIKE THE WEIGHT ON THE BAR WAS 565KG,I HAVE SEEN A SERGEON AND IT IS JUST BAD SWELLING INSIDE TENDON.

How long does recovery take ?
WELL IT WILL TAKE 3 MONTHS TO GET OK AGAIN SO I DECIDED NOT TO RISK ANYTHING AT THE WPC WORLDS IN NOVEMBER
Does this mean you must skip the WPC World´s ?
YES I HAVE TO MISS THIS COMP ITS BETTER TO BE SAFE,BUT I WILL BE THERE ALL WEEK TO HELP OUT AND TO HELP OUT ANYBODY NEEDING HELP.
What kind of meets you have on sight next year ?
WELL NEXT YEAR I HAVE BIG PLANS,IN MARCH I PLAN TO BREAK THE 460KG MARK ON DEADLIFT,IN MAY I WILL BE A THE EXPO IN ENGLAND BODYPOWER,AND IN AUGUST I PLAN TO GO TO THE PRO AM AND DO BATTLE WITH JONAS AND THE AMERICANS,USA VS EUROPE HA HA,THEN MAYBE A BIG DEADLIFT AT THE BULLFARM MEET IN FINLAND THAT WOULD BE GREAT.

What kind of numbers do you have in mind ?
WELL MY SQUAT HAS BEEN FEELING STRONG AGAIN AFTER THIS INJURY SETTLES DOWN I WILL BE UP AROUND 550K MARK AGAIN,BENCH IS GETTING BETTER AND 317K WILL BE REGULAR AND THE DEADLIFT I CAN PULL 1000 NOW AFTER SQUATTING BIG SO THE TOTAL WOULD BE OVER 1300K AND BREAK DONNIES 2905>
Have you changed your own training recently ?
I HAVE CHANGED BENCH STARTED WORKING WITH RICK HUSSEY FROM BIG IRON IT TAKES TIME BUT IT IS GETTING STRONGER,ITS JUST HITTING IT AFTER A BIG SQUAT.

OK ITS A NEW THING I HAVE BEEN TRAINING LIFTERS FOR NEARLY 20 YEARS IN OUR TEAM AND RECENTLY LOST MY JOB SO I DECIDED TO GET INTO HELPING LIFTERS TRAIN ,THERE ARE SO MANY WAYS TO TRAIN OUT THERE SOMETIMES MAKING IT COMPLICATED BUT IT DOES NOT HAVE TO BE,I STILL TRAIN THE BASICS WITH A FEW EXTRAS (SECRETS) HA HA

I know your training is basic and efficient, so it´s easy to help others too. What kind of customers and responses have you had so far ?
THE RESPONSE HAS BEEN GREAT LOTS OF BOOKINGS,KEEPING ME BUSY BUT I LIKE HELPING OTHER LIFTERS POWERLIFTING IS A SMALL SPORT AND WE ALL NEED TO HELP EACH OTHER OUT AND MAYBE JOIN UP AS ONE FED MAYBE NOT HA HA ..
